Salvagnini S4 / P4 Metal Fabrication

The Salvagnini S4+P4 system punches, shears and bends metal parts from standard blanks with no intermediate handling of the partly machined workpieces.

Designed to operate in a totally automatic and integrated manner, the Salvagnini FMS S4+P4 line optimizes production lead-times and improves workshop logistics, thanks to the flexibility and capability of its proprietary control and programming software.

Automatic set-up in masked time ensures excellent levels of productivity and makes "batch one" production truly possible. The multi-press head, integrated shear, proprietary software, Punch&Cut function and flexible universal bending tool make kit and unmanned "lights-out" production a reality.The S4+P4 line is one of Salvagnini's most popular solutions.

Thermoforming Manufacturing

Thermoforming is a manufacturing process where a plastic sheet is heated to a pliable forming temperature, formed to a specific shape in a mold, and trimmed to create a usable product.

Our Thermoforming Machine will form extruded acrylic sheets and features golden-rod tube support for the molds with the patented tube table.

The machine is programmed to heat extruded acrylic sheets in specific regions to ensure proper vac-forming can be accomplished for a flawless end-product.

Water Jet Cutting

Our finely focused jet of water cuts reliably and precisely in any direction to incredible detail. Automation allows a consistently accurate and reliable part time and time again. It also means that once the design is programmed into the machine, we can recreate that cut at a push of a button eliminating long lead times.

Precision enables our customers to set high tolerances in even the most complex parts. Waterjets have the flexibility to go from cutting a near net shape to high precision due to the versatility of the tool.

Lastly, due to zero mechanical stress or heat distortion, secondary processing or finishing of products can be eliminated.

Fiberglass Spray-Up Reinforcement

Fiberglass spray-up reinforcement processes are utilized in a variety of applications including marine, sanitary, swimming pools and transportation.

Chopped fiberglass reinforcement and catalyzed resin, and in some cases, filler materials, are deposited on the mold surface from a combination chopper/spray gun. Rollers or squeegees are used to manually remove entrapped air and work the resin into the reinforcements. Woven fabric or woven roving is often added in specific areas for greater strength.
